Viola Davis Emmy’s Speech on Black Women

This does not strictly relate to African women but the speech Viola Davis* gave when winning the 67th Emmy Award for  Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series is just something that speaks to all the minorities. It could have been said for actresses of colour born and loving in Italy, for women in Turkey or anywhere else. Here is the link to her brief but effective speech.
