Day Nine: Gender-based Violence And Sport?

Have you ever thought about fighting gender-based violence through sport? I’m personally still a bit skeptical about the idea behind Girl Sport Guides but the idea that through sport girls can learn to be confident and speak freely is interesting. In many development countries it is still difficult to count how many women have suffered abuses because they don’t speak out. And also after a trauma e mixed feeling of shame and anger make it impossible for a girl to talk about the violence.

So, for my ninth day of the 16-Day Activism Campaign against violence on women, I’m sharing this video.
