We Can Be Heroes

We all can be heroes. Some of the most moving statements during our trips for (IN)VISIBLE CITIES, have come from Hassan Palermo, a Somali poet with a Dutch passport and living in Butetown, Cardiff (portrayed below).

We interviewed Hassan at the very beginning of our documentary on African diaspora all over the world, (IN)VISIBLE CITIES, in Cardiff last March.

In 2014, just last week, we met him again: he now has a son ans started a company in Somaliland.
When meeting us for the second time in his life he told us:

You guys are heroes for what you’re doing!

Stuff like this is more powerful than what any life coaches could ever say! Truth being told, we are all potential heroes.
