African History told by Ryszard Kapuściński

I know how this goes, most of you are now laying down on the sand or relaxing in the mountains, visiting families and so on and so forth. I’ve done that too, but without a book it’s definitely not the same. I have to thank African Book Addict to have reminded me how interesting it is to read about your roots and history. Sometimes the pens pour ink directly from the continent, other times foreigner pens go to Africa and find a mesmerizing way to put into written words the history of the continent. It’s the case of Ryszard Kapuściński and his book The Soccer War
