African Women at Grammy’s Award: Angélique Kidjo

Of course my obsession with African women has touched all corners or society: from so-called developing countries to cinema and of course music.

At this year Grammy’s award our Africa voice was the one of  Angélique Kidjo a singer from Benin who has won the Contemporary World Music Album Award this year. And this is what she said to all of us out there:

Women of Africa, you rock! For me, music is a weapon of peace, and today more than ever, as artists we have a role to play in the stability of this world
