Yes, we all remember the saying ” Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. It ranked right up there with “Do unto others as ….and “The darker the berry the sweeter the juice”.
But who is the beholder? Is it our peers? Is it the majority or would that be US?
Must we be told that we are beautiful to believe it? Once we digest that question let’s go back one mo’ gin to understand what beauty is? Is it dark skin and full lips? Is it light skin and long hair? Would it be features associated with another ethnicity which, if found in the black race, is determined as beauty? Is being different beautiful?
