First Black Female Republican Congresswoman

The very first black female from the Republican Party in the U.S. has become congresswoman for the Utah. This would give hope for all minorities fighting to achieve those positions, African women included. Yes, it’s a fantastic step forward for the U.S. but did I mention, in Africa women are presidents?

Representative-elect Mia Love (Utah), the first black Republican woman elected to Congress, voiced her support Sunday for House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), who has come under fire after he acknowledged speaking to a white supremacist group in 2002.
