Arab Spring Didn’t Change Much for Women

Two years after the Arab Spring, how are things different for women? The question was asked to 25 women in the Arab world whose testimonies were filmed and put on the Thomson Reuters website.

The news agency is still calling for women to send them their thoughts about the aftermath of the revolutionary wave that inspired the West countries. In those days in December 2010. If one look at the current state of things, it doesn’t really seem like the wave started long ago. It was December 18, 2010.

How things changed for women since then?

After the protests, women were told: ‘Thank you, you’ve gone out to the streets, you have protested, your job is over and now it is our job’.

Personally, my rights are lost till this date
